In addition to headlining Bonnaroo, Bruce Springsteen will hop a plane to the British Isles to headline the Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England this year. The only other act that has officially added their name to the roster is Franz Ferdinand. Michael Eavis, founder of the Glastonbury Festival, had this to say about the addition- "I'm so pleased that Bruce Springsteen has agreed to come to Worthy Farm for the first time. He's one of the all-time rock legends and I'm confident that this will be one of our best shows ever." The Boss to perform at Barack Obama's Inauguration

Bruce Springsteen has announced that he will be performing during President Barack Obama's Inauguration Week Welcome planned for the week around the inauguration on January 20, 2009. Elvis Costello and Sting will also be performing. Jay Z has also announced the he will perform at a celebration party on the eve of the inauguration. With that announcement, Jay Z Obama concert tickets have been selling like mad.
